Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Leaves Democratic Party

The book describes the press secretary’s time in a ‘broken White House’ administration.

Former President Joe Biden’s longtime White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, said on June 4 that she has left the Democratic Party and will release a tell-all book on her time in the administration later this year.

Jean-Pierre, 50, served as Biden’s White House press secretary from May 2022 until the former president ended his term in January. Previously, Jean-Pierre worked on the 2008 Obama campaign and in the White House during former President Barack Obama’s first term in office.
