Governor Jerry Brown has granted 38 people pardons just before the Thanksgiving holiday, including a former California state senator convicted of voter fraud.
Rodrick Wright, the former Democratic state senator and assembly member from Inglewood, embraced the pardon from the outgoing governor and told the Sacramento Bee that “it truly is a day of Thanksgiving.”
