SANTA ANA, Calif.—A father and daughter were charged Oct. 5 with a robbery that turned deadly in Newport Beach.

His daughter—30-year-old Desirre Rita Lucy Aguirre—was charged with a felony count of robbery. Desirre Aguirre was out on bail on a charge of robbery on Aug. 19 when she was arrested in connection with the Newport Beach killing, according to court records.

The two were charged in connection with the deadly heist of 46-year-old Robert A. Tamaccio of Newport Beach on Saturday, according to Newport Beach police Sgt. Steven Oberon.

Police were called to a report of a man down bleeding at 34th Street and Seashore Drive about 1:35 a.m. Saturday. When officers arrived, they found the victim, who was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, police said.
