New York State Police arrested a 36-year-old man late on Wednesday, Nov. 22, after investigating a car crash, which injured his 8-year-old daughter while she was handling the steering wheel. The 8-year-old was sitting on her father’s lap.
The girl was taken to Albany Medical Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to The Post Star, a local newspaper in Glens Falls, New York. State police said she is being treated for broken bones, a punctured lung from a broken rib, and head injuries, New York Daily News reported.
