White House officials edited messaging on the finding that there was a higher-than-expected number of strokes following COVID-19 vaccination, according to newly released documents.

In January 2023, during the Biden administration, the White House changed wording on post-vaccination ischemic stroke from “moderately elevated” to “slightly elevated,” the records, released by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, show.
