European Troops Arrive in Greenland as Macron Calls Emergency Meeting
‘At Denmark’s request, I have decided that France will participate in the joint exercises organized by Denmark in Greenland,’ Macron said in a post on X.

European troops have begun arriving in Greenland as the geopolitical standoff over U.S. President Donald Trump’s ambitions for the Arctic island continues.
French President Emmanuel Macron said on X that French troops were on their way to Greenland to participate in a military exercise organized by Denmark and Greenland, a semi-autonomous Danish territory.
