DoorDash Launches New Safety Features for Deliverers Hours After Shooting

LOS ANGELES—DoorDash is launching two new safety features in its app to improve safety for food deliverers—the safety reassurance call and the emergency assistance button.

The announcement came hours after a woman was shot while making a DoorDash delivery in La Mirada.
