Officials in Delaware are alerting the public to a rise in overdoses resistant to the well-known opioid reversal drug Naloxone (Narcan).

“[In the last six days,] we’ve seen more than 30 overdoses in our department and in our facility,” Beebe Hospital emergency room Dr. Paul Cowan said at a press conference on May 1 with state officials.
