Costa Mesa lifted its mask mandate on June 1 and will now instead follow the state’s relaxed guidelines that allow the fully vaccinated to go without face coverings in some indoor settings.
With the city easing its mask mandate after it was first implemented in April 2020, Councilman Manuel Chavez said he’s looking forward to a sense of normalcy.
