POMONA—A convicted sex offender was sentenced April 27 to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murders of two 6-year-old Southland boys in the 1980s.
The sentence for Kenneth Kasten Rasmuson, now 59, was handed down following a series of emotional statements from the families of Jeffrey Vargo and Miguel Antero.
