Commission Makes Sweeping Recommendations to Counter Beijing’s Aggressive Tactics
The commissioners said it is a matter of whether the United States can move fast enough to reduce dependencies on China.

The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission recommended some sweeping changes to counter China’s efforts across several sectors on Nov. 18 in its annual report to Congress.
“The challenges to U.S. interests posed by China are complex, manifold, and rapidly evolving,” said Reva Price, chair of the commission, at a Nov. 18 hearing.
