Colorado parents are accusing the state’s second-largest school district of a “furry” coverup that mocked parents and erroneously discredited a Republican gubernatorial candidate.

During her campaign, Heidi Ganahl, a Republican who unsuccessfully ran for governor, voiced concerns about the “furry” trend among students.
