A mother and son from Dayton, Ohio, were killed on the night of Wednesday, Nov. 29, when a car fleeing police crashed into their house.
Maria Davis, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene after a car smashed into the living room of her single-story home in the 800 block of Lilac Avenue, near Kammer Avenue. The crash occurred at about 10:45 p.m., WDTN TV reported.
