Californians had one more ranking to boast about as Bike to Work Week began May 13 after being named the Best Family Cycling Location in America.

The Golden State is home to nearly 83,000 cycle routes, natural parks, beaches and other places to ride, which is one reason it topped the list published May 7 by Buycycle, an online marketplace for used bikes based in Munich, Germany.
