California Attorney General Rob Bonta ordered Oakland-based Flipcause, an online fundraising platform, to cease operations Friday after allegedly not distributing $500,000 in donations collected.

Bonta alleged that Flipcause has delayed transferring the donated funds collected online for nonprofits and is not properly registered as a fundraising platform.
