California Legislature Passes Bill Targeting Doctors Promoting COVID-19 ‘Misinformation’

California’s legislature has passed a bill that takes aim at doctors who promote false and misleading information related to COVID-19, including information about COVID-19 vaccines.

The California Senate voted 32–8 to approve the bill on Aug. 29, about three months after the California Assembly passed it 53–20.
