A bipartisan group of lawmakers has introduced legislation to tighten export controls on key chipmaking equipment to China.
The proposed Multilateral Alignment of Technology Controls on Hardware (MATCH) Act was announced late on April 2.

The MATCH Act would ban sales and servicing of key lithography machines to China and push allies to adopt similar restrictions.
