Yet he confronts a slew of tough challenges, including record-low approval ratings, an unresolved border issue, and a substantial affordability crisis in the country, which suggest that he has a bigger hill to climb.
President Biden began his reelection campaign with very low job approval ratings. His performance stands as the second-worst in modern history for a first-term president. On average, 39.8 percent of Americans approved of his job performance in his third year in office, according to a recent Gallup survey.
