A federal appeals court on March 14 temporarily allowed the Trump administration to implement some of the president’s executive orders that roll back diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs in federal agencies.

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, overturned a lower court’s ruling on Feb. 21 that the executive actions were likely unconstitutional and lifted the injunction issued by U.S. District Judge Adam Abelson in Maryland.
