Airbnb Co-founder to Redesign Thousands of US Government Websites

Gebbia said he wanted to create beautifully-designed government web portals that are as satisfying to use as the Apple App Store.

Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia said on Aug. 23 it would be an honor to redesign thousands of U.S. government websites after he was appointed as President Donald Trump’s new design chief.

Trump tapped the 44-year-old designer and entrepreneur to spearhead a new “National Design Studio,” tasked with the job of making federal online services more efficient and easy to use.
