Symphony in the Cities—‘Under the Sea’

Enjoy a family picnic with free music and summer breeze. This year’s theme “Under the Sea” is inspired by Mission Viejo’s past submerged by seawater thousands of years ago. The city’s first historic monument was a fossilized whale skull fragment found in 1973. The event features a fossil dig adventure, food trucks, and an opportunity for kids to learn how to be an orchestra conductor.
24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo. Saturday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Concert starts at 7 p.m. Free. For more information, visit www.cityofmissionviejo.org/events/symphony-cities-prelude-park
