6 Dead, 23 Injured From Severe Storms in Central Tennessee

Residents have been asked to stay back home while displaced individuals are requested to head over immediately to temporary shelters.

Six people have been killed and 23 others hospitalized as severe storms tore through central Tennessee on Dec. 9.

“At this time we can confirm that three people are deceased, two adults and one child as a result of the tornado that touched down this afternoon. Additionally, 23 people have been treated at the hospital,” a Clarksville, Montgomery County, statement reads. “We are still in the search and rescue phase of this disaster.”
