A 5-year-old girl was killed Thursday evening after a suspected kidnapper crashed his vehicle into a retention pond following a high-speed police chase in Jacksonville, Florida, according to police.
Christian Hancock of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said during a press briefing that the girl and the suspect are known to each other, but the exact nature of their relationship is unknown.
