Authorities arrested five suspects in a $1.6-million COVID-19 scheme and took “enforcement action” in fraud cases totaling $340 million during the past week, the Department of Justice said April 17.

The DOJ release highlights the work of federal prosecutors and the agency’s new fraud-focused unit.
