U.S. senators late on Aug. 1 released a 2,702-page infrastructure bill that appears to have enough support to pass the upper chamber, ahead of debate on the legislation on the Senate floor.

The approximately $1 trillion proposal (pdf) was cleared for debate before it was even submitted, setting off criticism of how Congress works.
