A two-vehicle crash injured eight people in the Orange County city of La Habra on April 10, police said.

Officers responded to the crash around 1:34 p.m. at the La Habra Boulevard and Palm Street intersection, police said.

The intersection is about 0.3 miles from Sonora High School.

One of the vehicles careened into several pedestrians, including a group of high school students, according to authorities. The seven students were waiting to cross the street when they were hit, resulting in minor injuries.

All the students and an adult driver from one of the vehicles, who also received minor injuries, were taken to hospitals by the Los Angeles County Fire Department, according to police.

Police said DUI is not believed to be a factor in the collision. La Habra Police Department will be in charge of the investigation.
