Two men were convicted by a jury in Santa Ana, California, on Oct. 28 for robbing an off-duty U.S. Secret Service agent at gunpoint in a Tustin neighborhood, the Orange County district attorney’s office announced.

A third defendant pleaded guilty in July for his role in the June 15 robbery, which took place after a celebrity campaign fundraiser for President Joe Biden hosted by Jimmy Kimmel in Los Angeles that afternoon.
