An 11-year-old North Carolina boy fought back against would-be robbers who threatened him with a pellet-gun and forced him into a closet in his own home.
Authorities later arrested one of the suspected intruders after he turned up at area hospital nursing a head wound incurred when the boy, described as a “star baseball player” by deputies, drove him off with a machete.
