A 10-year-old girl has died and three adults were injured during a shooting Monday night in Northeast D.C., Fox News reported.

The shooting occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on 53rd street between Clay and Cloud Place Northeast.

According to Fox News, four black men in masks got out of a black Infinity SUV and fired shots toward a crowd of around 20 people before fleeing the scene.

Police said the girl was found unconscious and not breathing, and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The other three victims, two men and a woman were also taken to hospital.

According to Fox News, Mayor Muriel Bowser was spotted at the scene and is expected to address the city on the tragedy.
