NEW YORK—A vehicle ramp connecting West 72nd Street to the West Side Highway is set to open on Oct. 23. The ramp was finished more than a year ago, but has been blocked while the city finalized the transfer of ownership of the road.
Connected to the ramp from the south is Riverside Boulevard, the street lining the front entrances of luxury Trump and Extell corporation condos from 72nd to 62nd Street.
The Department of Transportation introduced a painted median strip and parking lane to address a possible increase in traffic on Riverside Boulevard.
