A former HGTV star was arrested over allegations that he abused a 10-year-old girl, but he has denied the allegations against him.

Christopher J. Dionne turned himself into police in Connecticut on Monday, Jan. 29, after he was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, Fox News reported.

Dionne and twin brother, Michael, appeared on the show “Family Flip” on HGTV. The show doesn’t appear on HGTV anymore, but they’ve continued working on a new series on A&E. A&E, however, has suspended production on the show.

Fox News reported that Dionne hosted a sleepover in November 2017, and the 10-year-old girl told police that she was touched in an inappropriate manner by him. He also made lewd comments to her, while saying to her that she shouldn’t tell anyone otherwise he’d go to jail and his daughter wouldn’t have a father. Documents said that his son and daughter were sleeping in the same room during the alleged incident.

Court documents said that Dionne provided a verbal statement when he was contacted by officials, saying that the victim started rubbing his stomach. He told her “that’s inappropriate,” according to E! Online.

The girl said that he made lewd comments to her in September. He also denied those allegations, Fox reported.

Christopher’s bail was set at $100,000, and he’s currently out on bond, E! Online reported.
