Country singer Loretta Lynn has broken her hip, her sister announced on Instagram on Monday, Jan. 8.

Crystal Gayle, her sister, wrote, “Everyone send love and prayers” on the social media website. She said the singer broke her hip during a fall last week.

Gayle, who is a country singer herself, said, “I was with Loretta yesterday. She is in good spirits and is doing as well as can be expected with this type of injury.”

Details about the injury were not disclosed. It’s unclear if Lynn was hospitalized.

Lynn, 85, suffered a stroke in 2017 at her Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, home.

Lynn celebrated her 85th birthday in April 2017 and performed songs like “Fist City” and her the hit “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” according to The Tennessean. She suffered the stroke the next month.

The Hall of Fame singer is also known for “You Ain’t Woman Enough,” “The Pill,” and “One’s on the Way.”
