An armed and dangerous man has been reported on Sunday on or near the University of North Carolina campus.

Eyewitnesses said that two men got into a shouting match and one ended up following the other. A group of students found the victim cornered by the man and got the man to walk away, Katie Deagan, one of the eyewitnesses, said via Twitter.

Police are looking for the suspect and have activated the sirens, WTVD reported. All students and faculty are advised to shelter-in-place.
