University of New Haven on Lockdown After Reported Gunman

The University of New Haven was on lockdown on Tuesday after a report of a man with a rifle.

The suspect is in custody but the university is still telling people to “shelter in place,” reported the New Haven Register.

Forest Elementary and Carrigan Intermediate schools and Notre Dame High School are also sheltering in place.
