University of Delaware Bus Crashes in Bear, DE; 40 Injured

A University of Delaware bus crashed on Thursday night, leaving 40 people injured.

The bus crashed into a tractor trailer along Summit Bridge Road and Howell School Road in Bear, Delaware, reported ABC.

The bus flipped on its side.

Eight passengers were taken to Christiana Hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

Another 30 to 32 were described as “walking wounded” by Delaware State Police Sgt. Paul Shavack, reported NBC.

The people on the bus were between the ages of 18 and 22.
