A United Airlines flight attendant was allegedly drunk and cursed during boarding announcements, according to reports.

“If your seatbelt isn’t tight, you [expletive] up,” the flight attendant reportedly said.

According to The Telegraph, United Airlines refunded passengers on the plane, which was heading from Denver to North Dakota.

Police in Williston, North Dakota, said they got a call from airport officials before the flight landed on Thursday. They said that an occupant was intoxicated and also had a medical condition.

Police determined that the person was drunk. The investigation was forwarded to the FBI.

“Drunk and disorderly – belligerent flight attendant,” one passenger wrote on Twitter, while noting the boarding announcement. The person added: “I went to the cockpit and talked to the captain and police were waiting when we landed.”

“We are aware of a concerning incident involving a flight attendant serving on our regional service provider Trans States Airlines flight 4689. As a gesture of goodwill, we have compensated all customers aboard the flight and we apologize for any inconvenience or distress this may have caused,” United Airlines wrote in a statement, according to People magazine.

A spokesperson for Trans States Airlines told the publication that the employee is currently being “held out of service” in the meantime.

United Airlines has been under fire in recent months. A French bulldog, died on a United flight after it was booked into an overhead bin.

The 9-month-old dog, named Kokito, stopped breathing on the March flight heading from Houston to New York, Fox News reported. A flight attendant told the owner, Catalina Robledo, to place the animal in the overhead bin rather than underneath the seat.

The family that owned the dog is considering filing a lawsuit against United, according to lawyer Evan Oshan. They also want to know the name of the flight attendant whom they are holding responsible for the animal’s death.

United, in a statement, announced that it will enact new policies “or pet air transportation to improve the safety of the travel experience.”

A number of dog breeds will be banned from flying on United flights, the airliner stated. They include bulldogs and other short-nosed or snub-nosed dogs such as pugs. “Strong-jawed” dog breeds like the American Pit Bull Terrier and Mastiffs are also banned. Several breeds of cat were also banned.
