A few thousand people saw a purported UFO flying over Sao Paulo, Brazil during protests recently.

The incident was captured on camera and uploaded to YouTube.

However, it is likely that the UFO was a drone, controlled by a pilot somewhere else, according to the International Business Times.

“I’ve seen many of them, but never could get them on video,” the YouTube uploader wrote, according to the publication. “This was filmed on June 17th about 5:30 pm. It was flying about 500 ft off the ground, hundreds of people saw the UFO. It was not wind and it was like nothing most people have ever seen. The location was Sao Paulo downtown, Largo da Batata.”

The Times reported that there were no other videos uploaded of the incident. “We are trying our outright best at getting another video and when we do! It will be a ground breaker,” the user wrote.

The original video was taken down, but several others were uploaded.

Last week, an odd-shaped UFO was spotted flying over a medieval castle in the Netherlands.

“The most interesting part of that, for me, is those fins are on the opposite side. At first, I thought the fin side must be a tail, but after looking at it from the second image, it almost looked like the fins were (at) the front and it was turning around and coming back into the frame,” Corinne Federer, the photographer of the Netherlands UFO, told the Huffington Post.

And weeks ago, a UFO was spotted flying into a smoldering volcano in Mexico.

“Several elements of this video are initially startling, firstly that the object appears to be moving fast, and secondly, that it appears to be descending into the volcano,” said Marc Dantonio, the head photo and video analyst of the Mutual UFO Network, according to the Post.
