Ty Lawson, the guard for the Denver Nuggets, was arrested and charged with physical harassment and criminal mischief. The charges stem from domestic violence–possibly including striking, shoving, kicking, and likely property damage.

The Denver Channel reported that the charges require a restraining order.

The Denver Post reported that Lawson appeared Monday in Arapahoe County court and was arraigned.

Lawson, 25, is free after posting a $1,000 bond.

Other details are unclear.

Last season was Lawson’s best season, posting 16.3 points, 6.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game during the regular season.

He signed a four-year contract extension worth $48 million, according to reports.
