Two people were shot and killed at a high school in Florida on Tuesday, with no students injured or involved in the incident, according to local reports.

The shooting took place at the Episcopal High School in Jacksonville. “The situation is under control. At this time there is no outstanding suspects,” reads an email from the Jacksonville sheriff’s office, according to the Florida Times-Union.

Police spokesperson Melissa Bujeda said, “No children were involved, we believed, and no one is in danger,” according to the WKMG television station.

According to Florida’s News-Press publication, the assailant apparently came onto the school’s campus and killed a person before killing himself. There are still no details regarding the identities of the victims.

Ryan Sandoval, a parent of a child at Episcopal, told the Times-Union that he “was flabbergasted” over the shooting. “You don’t expect that here.”
