Two people were arrested Sept. 18 in Mill Valley in connection with a bank robbery.
At 2:13 p.m., the Mill Valley Police Department received a report of a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank at 18 Miller Ave.
Witnesses reported two men were involved in the robbery. One of the suspects was reported to still be in the bank, and the other had fled on foot.
Responding officers were able to take the suspect still inside the bank into custody. The second suspect was taken into custody a short time later in the area of Throckmorton Avenue at Old Mill Park.
Old Mill Elementary School was briefly placed on lockdown due to the robbery
The names of the suspects were not immediately released by Mill Valley police.
