Twitter had an outage at around 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
The company said it was “Currently Down for Maintenence”.
Later, in a statement, Twitter wrote: “We’re looking into it.”
It appears that Twitter was working for some people. Tweetdeck was also working.
It didn’t offer a time table as to when it would come back online.
“We expect to be back shortly. For more information, check out Twitter Status. Thanks for your patience,” it continued.
The company directed users to another site that wasn’t updated for a week.
