A man shot his twin brother in the leg on Wednesday near the Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego, it was reported.
The shooting took place at around 5:30 a.m., San Diego police told ABC-10 television.
The victim was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital, according to a fire rescue dispatcher.
The station said that no other details were released.
San Diego 6 News reported that the two brothers were identical twins and were both 34 years old, according to its Twitter feed. It said the shooting took place in front of a home.
Citing police investigators, NBC San Diego reported that the twin shot his brother in a dispute that lasted throughout the night.
Police took the suspect into custody and he will be charged for assault with a deadly weapon.
Officials described the other brother’s injuries as non-life-threatening.
