Donald Trump just debuted his new presidential hat.
Rather than his campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” the new red cap merely reads, “USA” with “45” written in white on the side. The number signifies his upcoming inauguration as 45th president of the United States.
The number 45, the New York Post suggested, is a “not-so-subtle swipe at ongoing recount efforts” in Wisconsin initiated by Jill Stein last week.
The Post reported that Trump seemed to “make a point of adjusting the hat for news cameras” as he walked by.

A photo of the new cap was captured by a Reuters photographer where Trump was seen at his Mar-a-lago hotel on Sunday.
It’s unclear if the hat will be available online like the “Make America Great Again” hats, which have been a big seller on Trump’s website during the campaign.
On Tuesday, Trump named Rep. Tom Price, an Obamacare opponent, as the head of the Department of Health and Human Services. His nomination requires a Senate confirmation.
“Chairman Price, a renowned physician, has earned a reputation for being a tireless problem solver and the go-to expert on healthcare policy, making him the ideal choice to serve in this capacity,” the president-elect said in a statement. “He is exceptionally qualified to shepherd our commitment to repeal and replace Obamacare and bring affordable and accessible healthcare to every American.”
Trump also named Elaine Chao as secretary of transportation, according to the New York Times.
