WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump will address the nation in a broadcast at 9 p.m. EST on Tuesday, Jan. 8, according to a post on Twitter. It will be Trump’s first such address from the Oval Office.

Trump has hinted at the possibility of using emergency powers to get funding for the border wall if the deadlock with Congress isn’t broken.
