President Donald Trump said that he believes former President Barack Obama is behind protests across the country as well as recent leaks that have been disrupting the White House.

“I think that President Obama is behind it, because his people are certainly behind it, and some of the leaks possibly come from that group,” Trump said in an interview with “Fox & Friends” on Feb. 28.

“But I also understand that’s politics,” the president told Fox. “And in terms of [Obama] being behind things, that’s politics. And it will probably continue.”

He says he’s not surprised, saying “I’m changing things that (Obama) wanted to do.” Trump said he’s tougher than Obama in terms of his efforts to deport anyone living in the country illegally.

Obama, who began his political career as a community organizer, made comments in November indicating he would remain politically active after he’s out of office.

“You’re going to see me early next year and we’re going to be in a position where we can start cooking up all kinds of great stuff to do,” Obama told activists who worked on his campaign during a conference call.
