President Donald Trump told reporters it would be hard to concede the 2020 presidential race if the Electoral College votes for Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
“It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was massive fraud,” Trump said, speaking from the White House on Thanksgiving. He added that he has not lost the race.
The president has repeatedly said the election was a fraud. He said he would leave the White House if Biden gets elected but said he expects much to happen between now and Jan. 20, 2021, Inauguration Day.
Some media are projecting Biden to have won 80 million votes in the 2020 election, with an 87-percent share of the black vote. Trump said, “This is not a candidate [Biden] who could get 80 million votes. This is not a candidate who beat Barack Hussein Obama with the black voter.”
Obama received 62 million votes in 2012.
“The only way [Biden] got 80 million votes is through a massive fraud,” Trump said.
He moved on to the topic of COVID-19 vaccines, saying delivery is imminent.
“It‘ll start next week and the week after and it’ll hit the front line workers and seniors and the doctors, nurses, a lot of people are going to start and we’re going very quickly.”
On Dec. 10, an Food and Drug Administration committee will review Pfizer’s request for emergency use authorization of its vaccine.
Phase 3 clinical studies have shown an efficacy rate of 95 percent from two doses several weeks apart, giving virus protection 28 days after the first shot.
The president said he pushed very hard to get vaccines developed and made available in record short time.
