A truck that was hauling 22,500 LG G2 phones has gone missing as it was heading to Louisville, Ky., according to a report from CNET.

A truck that was hauling 22,500 LG G2 phones has gone missing as it was heading to Louisville, Ky., according to a report from CNET.

The phones were heading to a Sprint facility as the service provider was slated to launch its version of the LG G2 next month.

The truck and phones were stolen at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday in Gary, Indiana, an LG spokesperson told CNET.

The truck was apparently lifted when the driver stopped for a bathroom break. When he returned, the vehicle was gone.

Police in Illinois and Indiana were told about the incident. The FBI also was contacted
