Tropical Storm Juliette has formed in the eastern Pacific Ocean near the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico, according to reports on Wednesday.

A Tropical Storm Warning was issued, according to the National Weather Service’s website.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the storm is located around 130 miles from Cabo San Lucas, with maximum sustained winds of 45 miles per hour.

Accuweather.com meteorologist Anthony Sagliani wrote that the storm might bring floods to the southwest.

Shawn Reynolds of the Weather Channel, via Twitter, wrote that “Cabo San Lucas, #Mexico under Tropical Storm Warning from newly formed but small TS #Juliette.”
