At least two people were shot and wounded at the funeral of Cagney Labon Roberts in Trenton, New Jersey, on Tuesday afternoon.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s office said that a person opened fire at the Galilee Baptist Church on Martin Luther King, Jr., according to NBC Philadelphia.
“Well I heard the pop and I immediately turned around and attempted to start securing family members and getting them out the side door and dialing police at the same time,” cousin Eric Muhammad was quoted as saying in the report. “The place was full, the place was full.”
No one is in custody, police told the station.
Multiple EMS units were spotted at the church at around 12:30 p.m., CSNPhilly reported.
