A boat in a Colombian reservoir, started to slowly sink lower. It sank so slowly at first, that passengers almost didn’t notice. As water entered the lower deck of the boat, panic erupted. Passengers were slow to get to the upper deck.

The reservoir is near the popular tourist site the Rock of Guatape. There were no official rescue boats in the area, so row boats, jet skis, and other tourist boats had to act.

Ninety-nine passengers were brought to shore, but 9 died and 28 people are still missing. Officials have not revealed the cause of the accident.
